I’m Dana Whitcomb, a portrait and event photographer based in Weatherford, Texas, with a passion for capturing people as they truly are: confident, connected, and fully present.

I’ve been behind the camera long before turning it into a business of my own. For over two decades, I worked in high-level production environments collaborating with clients, producers, and creative teams to bring stories to life for networks like Discovery, ESPN, and PBS. From managing six-figure production budgets to directing shoots in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, I developed a deep understanding of both the technical and human side of storytelling.

That experience shaped everything about how I work today.

When I photograph a corporate event, lead a portrait session, or document a family’s connection, I bring the same level of intention, organization, and professionalism that I honed in the production world. I know how to anticipate moments before they happen, guide people with ease, and deliver a refined final product without making the process feel overwhelming.
